This 10,440 sq. ft. (970 square meter) headquarters building was designed for a popular hot rod car parts manufacturer in Yokohama Japan, which had originally been a Los Angeles based company.

It includes a first level showroom/workshop, and upper level offices for the corporation. The owners requested an entirely yellow building to match the corporate color, but were delighted with this alternative proposal which derives its architectural language from 1950s America “Googie” design, as well as auto design themes of the 40s and 50s.
